The Puppyhurst Doggo News – Worth the Wag
Dateline: Saturday, February 20th, 2021
While roaming her Puppyhurst beat, rover reporter Ceiba Bunny met up with a special visitor to our pack: Nala, age 4 months. A princess Rottie from San Jose, California, Nala is staying with her human grandparents here in North Seattle. A sweet and loving girl, Nala is named after the character from The Lion King. And like movie Queen Nala, our Nala is looking after her family by going on “grandpa” adventures. First she’s spending time playing with and loving on her Seattle grandpa, and then she will head up to San Juan Island to meet her other grandpa (for the first time!) where she hopes giving him lots of love and kisses will help him through a difficult time.
When asked if she feels too young to take on such an adventure, hero princess woofed, “It’s not a burden. Like Queen Nala said, ‘It’s your responsibility.’ Of course I miss home, but when you have a job to do with people you love, it’s not a burden. It can even be fun! In my experience, grandpas are definitely fun!”
