There is nothing better than starting spring with a goddess, and her name is Freya. A 4.5 year old beauty, Freya has a mixed heritage, like the Norse goddess she is named for. Also like the goddess of war, Freya, had a battle before she came to her fur-ever family when she was only 5 months old. Freya proudly wears the scar from her battle, reminding everyone that she is a survivor. Although she keeps the origin of her scar to herself, we can see in her eyes the confidence that declares she won that battle.
And now, done with war, Freya is focusing on love and beauty. She lavishes love on her human brother, and somewhat less on her feline siblings. She contemplates the world and the people in it, trying to understand others.
Freya woofed, “The world is an amazing place. Stop and watch the world. You’ll be amazed by the beauty and the magic of it all. In the falling plum blossom and the song of the house finch, you’ll see the majesty in the world. … Except cats, I just can’t get cats.”
