The Puppyhurst Doggo News – Wagging Away Summer

This Saturday, our reporter met up with local Puppyhurst denizen, Gus, age 6. Often called, “Guster” by his hooman dad, he was named after the character by the same name on the hit series Psych. And like the actor Dulé Hill, our Gus is a very expressive and photogenic fellow! Just look at his photos! Gus, however, has no intention of joining the crazy world of Hollywood. He has already lived an exciting life, coming to North Seattle from a shelter in Texas. And he’s been happy with his dad and hooman housemates since his adoption at just a few months old.
Gus has as many loves as he has expressions. He loves socks. And he has a favorite goose toy that has been with him for a long time. He also loves walks and meeting new people. He likes the attention he gets from other doggos and hoomans. But he feels that, without something to do, he gets shy and wants to walk dad on.
When asked what job he would be good at, he thought about it for a while and decided that he would be good at being a restaurateur. He woofed, “It’s fun and sometimes worth your time when you find a particularly nice and tasty morsel on walks. I don’t think they are necessarily things my dad would like, but I know in a restaurant for the canine set, those things would be the toast of Puppyhurst!”
