The Puppyhurst Doggo News – Our Pack is Puppyhurst

While padding her beat, Ceiba Bunny met up with a visiting Puppyhurst resident, Kona, age 7 months. When Ceiba first met her she thought Kona was a Greyhound, but to her surprise and delight, she discovered that Kona is in fact an albino Doberman! Like many Dobies, Kona loves to play and make friends. In fact, she has a good German Shepherd friend in the neighborhood who she likes to see and play with. Her Shepherd friend grew up homeless and Kona’s friendly nature and sweet demeanor is helping her friend gain trust. And since she’s not a fighter, she’s happy to turn to dad when she gets scared.
However, like many albino dogs, Kona does deal with diminished eyesight. So she likes to meet other dogs and people, but finds herself getting a little scared. Once she gets to know a dog’s scent, getting to be friends is much easier. And she really does want to be friends. Being very close to her hooman dad makes this so much easier. It’s just her and him since she was only 8 weeks old and she loves him very much!
When asked what she’d like to be when she finishes growing up, Kona barked, “Well, there’s no denying that I like the finer things in life. I love steak! And the best toys, like long rubber sticks with balls on the end, and I also love greeting people, so I think I would make a good concierge, because I could point other doggos to the finer things in life. And when you have a hooman who loves you like how my dad loves me, it’s not hard to know what those things are!”
Welcome to Puppyhurst, Kona! Come back soon!
